New and improved Accent Meetings app delivers cloud-based HD video conferencing, online meetings, and collaboration services on iOS and Android devices. 

Accent has released a new and improved Accent Meetings app for iOS and Android devices. This new version of Accent’s video meetings and conferencing app provides a brand-new user experience along with enhanced features and productivity improvements for Accent’s iOS and Android users.

Accent Meetings provides a complete video meetings and conferencing experience including HD video meetings, chat and collaboration, personal meeting rooms, screen sharing, and more. The latest version of Accent Meetings delivers iOS and Android users new features such as personal calendar integration, personal meeting profiles, enhanced meeting security, and a new and improved user interface.

Simplified App Login

Logging in to Accent Meetings has never been easier, just simply use the same username and password which you use to login to the Accent Desktop.  All your user information and meeting data is now populated directly from Accent’s cloud systems once you log in.

Personal Meeting Room

Your personal meeting room is a unique meeting space for you to host your own video conferences and online meetings.  You can start your meeting room, schedule a meeting, copy the meeting link and meeting information all with one-click from the app.  A unique meeting dial-in and PIN is also available for your meeting room.

This meeting room and its associated information will be identical to your meeting room on the Accent Desktop app, ensuring a consistent and seemless experience across all your devices.

Microsoft and Google Calendar Integration

App version 1.4 introduces dedicated pages for the integrated Meetings, Calendar, and Files features.  While these features were available via side panels and docked frames in previous versions, the new design provides the ability to deliver more features and information on each page, enhancing the user’s experience.

Dedicated navigation buttons for Communications, Meetings, Calendar, and Files are persistent across the navigation bar at the top of the application.  These buttons provide quick and easy access to navigate between the different pages and access each respective function quickly.

We’ve expanded the personal calendar integration features to include the ability to schedule an Accent Meeting via your Google or Microsoft calendar directly from the app.  The Meetings page now contains a button which includes options to schedule a meeting via either your Google or Microsoft calendar.  Clicking that button will launch the appropriate calendar via your default web browser with pre-filled meeting details specific to your Accent Meetings account.  Attendees and custom invitation information can then be added to the meeting invite and sent to your meeting attendees.

Additional Features & Improvements

  • User information now delivered from central sign-in service upon login.
  • Calendar meetings which occur via third-party meeting services will display the appropriate service icon and enable one-click meeting access.
  • Added option to enable the meeting lobby upon the start of a meeting for additional privacy.
  • Added user profile image from UC desktop/mobile client.
  • Meeting history and favorites are sync’d to the cloud user database for use across both desktop and mobile clients.
  • Improved visual functions and responsive design elements.
  • Performance enhancements and bug fixes.
